From 10am-11am. in the yoga studio, Join us for Innate Wellbeing — Meditate with a monk 🧘Community meditation at The Commons, Muizenberg, led by Buddhist monk Alex Kunkhyen. By donation. Everyone welcome 🙌. Stay afterwards for warm cacao or jasmine tea. Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, you’re warmly welcome. This is a gripping, fast-paced crime thriller exploring injustice, institutional failure, abuse of power and the blurred line between justice and revenge. Wallace writes in a visual, cinematic style, combining intense storytelling, relentless momentum and confronting subject matter to create stories that pull readers into the action and challenge them to question uncomfortable truths about society.

Expect five hours of housey rhythms drifting in and out of liquid DnB, a lot of “oeff, that’s so bouncy”, and a dance floor full of our loyal, slightly cultish (but very friendly) following with love.

From 8pm: We have got a live music performance by LABDI. A trailblazing Kenyan musician, cultural operator and brand innovator dedicated to elevating contemporary African identity. Operating at the intersection of culture, business, and community, she builds high-impact platforms that challenge traditional boundaries. As one of East Africa’s pioneering Orutu players, her sound fuses Ohangla, Taarab, and Benga with experimental folk and soul textures—ancient yet urgently present. She is joined by Cape Town’s own Sibahle Sky Dladla, the Gugulethu-born marimba master and indigenous instrument innovator whose genre-defying artistry bridges ancestral tradition and modern expression. Don’t miss this rare Cape Town appearance.
